Youth Etiquette: Collegiate & Savvy

Etiquette and Manners Workshops for Young Adults, ages 18 - 22

"Students and young professional participants will develop the necessary skills and awareness to project confidence and authority in the business and social arenas."

We are truly in a global economy, where technical skills and an MBA are no longer enough. Companies increasingly look to those men and women who possess soft-skills and who are also sensitive to interacting with people from all around the world. Business etiquette and dining skills are powerful tools that will give students the cutting edge in the international business arena of the 21st century.

Our programs are highly interactive and enjoyable. The objective of the Minding Manners programs is to provide participants with powerful business etiquette skills that will give them "the edge" and put them on the road to personal and professional success. It is our desire to assist college students and young professionals to project a professional image, confidence and polish in all business and social situations.

Recent studies by Harvard University, The Carnegie Foundation and The Stanford Research Institute have all led to the same remarkable conclusion: 85% of an individual’s success in getting, keeping and advancing in a position depends on people skills, and only 15% on technical knowledge and skills. When you combine that with the fact that many business decisions are made at social events and that 80% of all business is conducted over a meal, then you begin to realise the importance that manners and etiquette really hold in today’s society. Knowing how to be comfortable in these types of environments is essential so that you can put the business of which fork to use behind you and can thereby focus on the more important issues at hand.
